Scramble Format
This is the preferred format for outings for the fastest pace of play. Scrambles offer the most enjoyment for the player with the least amount of pressure. The teams are usually created with players of varying ability. Each player will drive from the tee, then the team will pick the best shot and each player will hit from that position. This process will be repeated for each shot until the ball is holed. The team with the lowest combined score wins the event.

Individual format
This is the most popular format for smaller groups of better players. In this competition each player plays his/her own ball and will have an individual score. The lowest gross or net score determines winners.

Best Ball format
Another popular format for groups! This format will allow individuals to play their own shots, but be scored as a team. The teams consist of 2 or 4 players and the best score(s) per hole is recorded as a team score (gross or net).
Gross Score - player's total score
Net Score - A player's total score minus his/her handicap

Start Options

Single Tee
This is a great way of starting small groups with 40 players or less. Players will be paired and given sequential tee times. The first group would tee off and after they have played their second group would tee off. The tee times would continue until all players are on the golf course.

Double Tee
This is a great format for groups ranging between 40?]72 players. The double tee works very similar to the single tee with consecutive tee times, the exception being your group tees off holes 1 and 10 simultaneously. This format allows the group to tee off twice as fast and still finish 18 holes within the allotted times.

Modified Shotgun
A twist in starting times allowing groups up to 72 players to start at the same time. Typically utilized as a back nine gun, teams will be assigned holes 10?]18 and finish approximately at the same time.

Shotgun
This is the best format for 72 players or more. This format reserves the golf courses for your group only. Groups with time constraints will best utilize this format. All players will start and finish at approximately the same time.
